The Bermuda Ball Hockey League got underway inside the BAA Gymnasium.
In the first game of the evening the Colorado Rockie defeated the Winnipeg Jets 10 – 5. Chris Meritt led the Colorado Rockie charge with 6 goals and one assist, while Matthieu Desjardins scored twice and had 4 assist, Greg Vandermade added the other two goals for the Colorado Rockie and Chad Booth had two assist. The Winnipeg Jets got a goal apiece from Ted Herman, Mike Malott, Chris Lemieux, JF Talbot and Cam Poland, while Poland added 2 assist, the Winnipeg Jets also got 2 assist from Talbot and a single assist from Sean Brosseau.
In the second match of the night the Atlanta Flames defeated the Quebec Nordiques 10 – 6. Evan Gerant and Chad Critchel both scored a hat-trick to lead Atlanta to victory, they also go single strikes from Glen Madore, Mark Waddington, Kyle Hankins and Ernie Theriault. JM Tremblay scored a hat-trick for Quebec, while Adam Chevis scored twice and Shaun Trowsdale scored once.
