Sandpipers 1 Canaries 7

The Canaries would defeat the Sandpipers 7 – 1 in the opener on the day, the Canaries would take the lead in the 5th minute with a Field Goal off the stick of Chloe Pullen, a second Field Goal five minutes later this time by Jo Frith doubled the Canaries lead.

The Canaries would take a 3 – 0 lead when Pullen scored her second goal of the game, this one coming via a Penalty Corner in the 15th minute and then in the 25th minute Pullen would complete her hat-trick with another Penalty Corner Goal.

The Sandpipers would score in the 32nd minute when Alivia Venning scored a Field Goal to send the teams to the break with the score 4 – 1.

The Canaries would make it 5 – 1 with a Field Goal in the 46th minute off the stick of Nat Rood, and then Grace Edy would make it 6 – 1 with a Field Goal in the 55th minute and the final goal of the game would be scored by Frith who scored her second Field Goal of the game this one coming in the 68th minute.

Ravens 2 Pink Robins 1

The Ravens would edge the Pink Robins 2 – 1, the Ravens would take the lead in the 28th minute with a Field Goal of the stick of Isabel Roe, the Pick Robins would level the score at 1 – 1 when Emma Ranger scored a Field Goal in the 43rd minute, but the Ravens would score the winner in the 54th minute with Roe scoring her second Field Goal of the game.

Ravens 2 Mixed B Team 3

In the lone Bermuda Field Hockey game at the National Sports Center the Mixed B Team came from behind to edge the Ravens 3 – 2.

The Ravens would take the lead in the 18th minute when Isabel Roe scored, Lauren Patterson would double the lead for the Ravens in the 25th minute.

The Mixed B Team would pull a goal back in the 36th minute when Tyler Smith scored, Alex Godet would level the score at 2 – 2 with a goal in the 50th minute. Smith would score the winner for the Mixed b Team and complete the comeback with a strike in the 62nd minute.

Las Vegas Wranglers 0 Kelowna Rockets 3

In the opener the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers 3 – 0.

The Kelowna Rockets took the lead in the First Period with a goal off the stick of Shane Matchett.

Matchett would double the lead for the Kelowna Rockets early in the Second Period, before Ian Beaudoin would make it 3 – 0 with a late Second Period strike.

Neither team would find the back of the net in the Third Period for the score to remain the same.

Worchester Railers 0 Guelph Storm 4 – Postponed

Rain would halt the second game of the night with the Guelph Storm leading the Worchester Railers 4 – 0 in the Second Period.

The Guelph Storm would jump out to a 3 – 0 lead at the end of the First Period with 2 goals off the stick of Christopher Merritt, while JM Tremblay added the other.

Before heavy showers brought the game to an abrupt end Chris Cairns scored the 4th for the Guelph Storm.

Guelph Storm 0 Rimouski Oceanic 1

The Rimouski Oceanic edged the Guelph Storm 1 – 0 in the opener.

The lone goal of the game came off the stick of Matthew Benson in the Second Period.

Las Vegas Wranglers 2 Kelowna Rockets 5

The second game of the night produced seven goals with the Kelowna Rockets defeating the Las Vegas Wranglers 5 – 2.

The two teams were level at 1 – 1 at the end of the First Period, with the Kelowna Rockets getting a goal from Chris Coleman, while the Las Vegas Wranglers got a goal from Robbie Bailey.

The Kelowna Rockets would score three unanswered goals in the Second Period with Bill Calko, Jon Talbot and Scott Dawson all finding the back of the net.

The two teams would once again score a goal each in the Third Period Brian White scored for the Las Vegas Wranglers, while Adam Mattatall scored for the Kelowna Rockets.

The Bermuda Field Hockey season resumed at the National Sports Center with a double header that produced 14 goals.

Mixed A Team 3 Mixed B Team 0

The Mixed A Team defeated the Mixed B Team 3 – 0, Peter Loader scored a Field Goal in the 20th minute, Loader would double the lead with his second Field Goal of the game in the 25th minute. Lynsey Turner would make it 3 – 0 to the Mixed A Team with a Field Goal in the 37th minute.

Bermuda Under 21 Team 0 Budgies 11

The Budgies would score early and often as they defeated the Bermuda Under 21 team 11 – 0. The Budgies would get a hat-trick from Georgia Thams, while Renee Greenslade, Keishae Robinson and Lauren Cardwell all added 2 goals each. Kascia White and Francesca Cacace score a goal each.
