The Marsden Memorial Match Day took place at the National Sports Center, with a total of 118 points put on the board in two Women’s and Men’s matches taking place.
Women’s:
Renegades Ladies defeated the Teachers Ladies 41 – 0, the Renegades Ladies got 3 Try’s from Amy Harvey, while Elaine McHugh scored twice, with Sarah Maybury and Susie Lacey added a Try each, Laura Mulligan kicked 3 Conversions.
Police Ladies then defeated the Mariners Ladies 24 – 0, the Police Ladies got single Try’s from Jo Murray, Fiona Donaldson, Estienne Coetzee and Saphia Charters, while Fiona Donaldson kicked 2 Conversions.
Men’s
In Men’s action the Renegades defeated the Teachers 18 – 15, the Renegades got single Try’s from Alex Brown and Jahan Cedenio, while Paul Kelly kicked a Conversion and 2 Penalties, while the Teachers got Try’s from Chris Naylor and Janiko Francis, Dan Roberts kicked a Conversion and a Penalty.
The Mariners then defeated the Police 15 – 5, the Mariners got 2 Try’s from James Coulton and a single Try from Rory O’Kelly-Lynch, while the Police lone Try came from Spencer Brown.
