Brynley Toms and his Cardiff Rugby Football Club teammates lost their unbeaten record at Church Bank, but still qualified for the Indigo Premiership Semi-Finals.
Llandovery won the tightest of games 19 - 16 in their brave effort to top Pool D of the Welsh Premiership Cup and get to the Semi-Finals of the competition but it was not enough against the current league leaders.
To make the last four, Llandovery needed to defeat Cardiff with a bonus point and also stop them from not only scoring four Try’s but also stop them getting a losing bonus point.
