The Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s League season resumed with matches taking place at the National Sports Center.
Women’s Division
Renegades 17 Police 12
The Renegades Ladies defeated the Police Ladies 17 – 12, the Renegades got 2 Try’s from Sarah Maybury, while Jackie Oliver added the other, Laura Mulligan kicked a Conversions. The Police Ladies got Try’s from Saphia Charters and Meagan Jackson, while Jess Wagner kicked 1 Conversion.
Mariners 19 Teachers 12
In the second match the Mariners Ladies defeated the Teachers Ladies 19 - 12. The Mariners Ladies got Try’s from Deneka Borden, Amanda Swan and Naya Heyliger, they would also get Conversions from Najee Pitt-Clarke and Gina Newson. The Teachers Ladies got Try’s from Gillian Cross and Tamacia Lynch, with a Conversion added by Helen McHugh.
Men’s Division
Renegades 21 Police 12
In the Men’s opener the Renegades defeated the Police 21 – 12. The Renegades got single Try’s from Lewis Walsh, Tom Healy and Bennet Gibson, they also got 3 Conversions from Paul Kelly. Danny Pell scored the lone Try for Police, while Dan Cole kicked a Penalty and a Conversion.
Mariners 29 Teachers 26
The Marines won the final game of the day 29 – 26 over the Teachers, the Mariners got 2 Try’s from Chiquon Smith, while Paola Sousa and Jake Krige added a Try each. James Coulton kicked 3 Conversions and 1 Penalty. The Teachers got Try’s from Janiko Francis, Tashon DeSilva, Nen Train and Ja’Kee Simons, while Dan Cole kicked 3 Conversions.
