The Renegades went undefeated to win an unprecedented fifth Mad Hatters Women’s Trophy in row once again laying claim to their invincibility.
The Renegades Vice Captain Jacqueline Oliver was pleased about her ladies performance stating, “We played really well as team today”.
The Police Men went undefeated in a closely contested tournament, the win secured Police second Mad Hatters Trophy in a row and sets up the season for a really competitive league.
Police Captain Stephan Smit was deservedly proud of his team’s performance - “We have some new young players coming through and I was happy with their development and our overall performance- we have areas to improve on but overall it was a great day for the Police club”.

Men’s Mad Hatters
The Police defeated the Mariners 12 – 0, the Police got Try’s from Dan Cole and Thinus Dreyer, while Cole kicked a Conversion.
The Teachers got two Try’s from Mikel Dill and Jamiko Francis as they defeated the Renegades 41 – 7, the Teachers also got single Try’s from Chucky Smith, Andrew Hook and Johnny Barnes, while Aldo Campbell kicked 3 Conversions, the Renegades gat a Try and a Conversion from Robin Bricknell.
The Police then defeated the Teachers 14 – 7, the Police got Try’s from Scott Clarke and James Annandale, with Dan Cole kicking 2 Conversions, Aldo Campbell scored the Try and kicked the Conversion for the Teachers.
Mikel Dill, Jahniko Francis, Aldo Campbell and Tashon Desilva all scored a Try each to lead the Teachers to a 22 – 0 win over the Mariners, Dill kicked a Conversion.
The Police then shutout the Renegades 17 – 0 on Try’s from Owen Siese, Darren Richardson and Nick Pell, with Dan Cole kicking the Conversion.
Tom Healy scored 2 Try’s and Brian Archibald kicked a Conversion as the Renegades defeated the Mariners 12 – 0.
