A game set up with Pete Shillingford, who played for the Police Rugby Club during his time in Bermuda and is now a coach at Crowborough, R.F.C., U.K, saw the Bermuda Men’s National Rugby team come away with a 31-12 win on their way to Gibraltar. In a very entertaining game, Bermuda prevailed in a game played with high tempo and attacking rugby by both sides. The hosts have a wonderful facility and the game was well attended by members. Try scorers for Bermuda were Scott Clarke who had two, while Tom Healy, Conor McGowan and Tashon DeSilva all added a Try each, McGowan kicking three Conversions.
The squad for the game was: PJ Brangman, C McGlynn, J Cedenio, J De Shields, T Stevens, T Greenslade, J Baum (man of match), T De Silva, T Healey, A Brown, F Obas, M Dill, J Simons, S Clarke, C Mc Gowan, M Keyes, M Williams, D Archibald, M Kelley.
