Brynley Toms and his Bedwas teammates defeated Llanelli 25 - 23 in their 2018/2019 Principality Premiership match.
Llanelli would take the lead with a Penalty off the boot of Ashley Sutton, Llanelli would then be awarded a Penalty Try and with Sutton’s Conversion they would take a 13 – 0 lead. Bedwas would get on the board with a Joseph Scrivens Penalty making it 13 – 3 and then a Jacob Chilcott Try and Scrivens Conversion pulled Bedwas within three making it 13 – 10.
Michael Callow would give Bedwas their first lead of game when he went over for a Try, but with the Conversion missed Llanelli would go right back down the field and regained the lead with a Kalum Evans Try making it 18 – 15. A Scrivens Penalty drew the teams level at 18 – 18.
Llanelli went back in front with a Nathan Hart Try, but Kane Teear-Bourge would level the score with a Bedwas Try and when Scrivens kicked the Conversion it earned Bedwas the win.
