This year will be a very special one for the World Rugby Classic organizers as they will celebrate 30 years.
A statement on the website reads, “For those still around from the start in 1988, it is quite hard to believe this November we will be celebrating the 30th World Rugby Classic! Time has certainly flown with lots of memories, sadness about those no longer with us, great friendships made but, all in all, quite a ride.”
This year's Classic will start on Sunday November 5th with the Finals on Saturday the 11th.
The eight teams this year will feature the defending champions France, Argentina, Canada, Great Britain, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Italy.
The 2017 Opening Match Schedule:
Sunday 5th Classic Pumas vs Rugby Canada Classic Lions vs France Classic Rugby
Monday 6th Classic All Blacks vs USA Classic Eagles Classic Springboks vs Rugby Italy Classic XV
