Saracens have confirmed their 44-man travelling squad for the club’s Atlantic Rugby Cup pre-season tour of Bermuda.
The north Londoners are scheduled to depart for their six-day tour of the idyllic island situated in the North Atlantic. The pre-season tour will include three-day training camp and a matchup against the USA Islanders on Thursday August 10th in Bermuda for the Atlantic Rugby Cup.
Saracens returning British & Irish Lions contingent of Owen Farrell, Jamie George, George Kruis, Maro Itoje, Mako Vunipola and Liam Williams, will all be on the tour, but unavailable for selection for the Atlantic Rugby Cup match-up. Summer recruits Calum Clark, Dominic Day, Kieran Longbottom, Will Skelton and Christopher Tolofua will also be in the touring party as will Academy players Ben Earl, Matt Gallagher, Nick Isiekwe, Max Malins, Dom Morris and Jack Nay.
Speaking ahead of the tour Saracens director of rugby, Mark McCall said: “This is the first time this preseason we’ve all been together, with every player involved. Bermuda is a fantastic place for us to prepare for what will be another demanding season and the tour gives us the opportunity to integrate some of our newer faces into the group – we’re really looking forward to the week ahead.”
Saracens England EPS contingent of will link-up after the conclusion of this weekend’s pre-season England training camp.
