Bermuda’s Men’s and Ladies National Teams took to the field on Day Two in the annual 2016 RAN Sevens, with both teams doing the country proud.
This year the Ladies took 7 international rookies including 4 girls that came through the Under 18 program, so they are looking for better things in the years to come.
Bermuda's National Sevens Teams started Day 2 with losses, the Women went down 22 - 0 against Cayman, while the Men fell 17 - 7 to Trinidad & Tobago.
Bermuda Women's Sevens team then defeated Turks and Caicos 19 - 0, Bermuda got Try’s from Lauren Rothwell, Amanda Swan and Kelli Nusum, with Erica MacArthur kicking 2 Conversions.
Bermuda’s Men’s team advanced to the Plate Final following their 21 - 0 win over Barbados, Bermuda got Try’s from Corey Boyce, Aldo Campbell and Andre Landy, while Dan Cole added 3 Conversions.
The Bermuda Women's National Team were defeated 17 - 0 by Guyana, while the Bermuda's Men's National Team finished 6th after losing the Plate Final to Mexico 19 - 0.
