Brynley Toms and his Bedwas teammates can expect a much sterner test this week as 6th place Carmarthen Quins arrive at the Bridgefield looking to keep their own push for the top eight on track. KICK OFF at 12-00 noon.
Toms is in the starting lineup as Steve Law knows that Carmarthen will offer different challenge to last week’s visitors and has urged his charges to keep the good run going. “With high flying Aberavon coming up on the following Saturday I’ve made a few tweaks to the starting line-up and we welcome James Thomas from the Dragons into the back row.” “As ever we will give our opponents the respect they deserve and have prepared accordingly.”
Darran Harris of the Dragons starts at hooker with Geraint Edmonds and Rhys Verley occupying the second row berths. The aforementioned James Thomas comes in for Robson Blake. Behind the scrum the same half back pairing as last week start with a recall to the starting fifteen for Mike Callow and Pat Lewis after British and Irish Cup duties.
