Brynley Toms will once again start on the bench as Bedwas head to Newport on Sunday September 11th in good spirits as they look to bounce back from a narrow defeat against Pontypridd last time.
Head Coach Steve Law is looking forward to the challenge “We have worked hard in training this week with the focus on eliminating the errors that cost us last weekend” he said. “Newport are a very good side but I am focussed on what I expect from my team”
Bedwas make a few changes to last week’s starting line-up. Tom Prydie comes in on permit from the Dragons to take up the right wing berth with Pat Lewis switching to the left flank in place of Adam Williams. Up front James Benjamin moves to number 8 with Robson Blake moving to lock forward to partner Joe Davies. George Lee and Andrew Waite make up the back row triumvirate with the front row being unchanged from last week.
