Tyler Smith finished just 21 second out of a Podium spot as he finished 5th competing in the 2023 Africa Triathlon Premium Cup Nelson Mandela Bay Triathlon Elite Men’s race.
Smith clocked a time of 1:42:27, Smith clocked 15:21 during the 1500m Swim, he then completed the 40k Bike Course in 53:19, before clocking a time of 32:29 on the 10K Run Course.
Jamie Riddle from South Africa clocked a winning time of 1:41:27, Panagiotis Bitados from Greece was second in 1:41:36, and James Edgar from Ireland was third clocking 1:42:06.
