Erica Hawley has been named to the ASICS World Triathlon Team for 2022.
Spain’s Mediterranean jewel Valencia welcomes 65 of the industry’s best female triathletes to the fifth World Cup of the year on Saturday afternoon, halfway into a 2022 circuit that has already seen incredible entertainment at outstanding circuits around the world.
The Asics World Triathlon Team brings Hawley fresh from her Commonwealth Games debut as members of the Bermuda team embark on the second of three designated supported races in 2022, Hawley is listed to wear the number 41.
Hawley posted on social media, “I’d be lying if I said training has been smooth sailing this month. After Commonwealth Games and a break, it’s been hard to get back into a rhythm. Regardless, I’m super excited to race as part of the Asics World Triathlon Team and give it my all on a new course.”
