Bermuda’s Olympic Gold Medalist and Multi-World Champion Flora Duffy will compete in the Malibu Triathlon this weekend.
Flora Duffy said, “I was devastated and heartbroken that the Bermuda World Triathlon event had been canceled, but to clear my mind I have signed up for the Malibu Triathlon.”
Malibu Triathlon will host an Olympic Distance race as well as Super League Professional racing as the beautiful Pacific Coast welcomes the world's best triathletes to a spectacular finale of the 2021 Championship Series.
The Olympic Distance race features a 1.5km Pacific Ocean Swim, a 40km out-and-back bike along Pacific Coast Highway, and a 10km out-and-back run along the sands of Zuma Beach.
