Bermuda’s Flora Duffy takes the Arzachena World Cup Gold with an incredible display on the tough Sardinian course.
Beth Potter claimed the silver and Verena Steinhauser won the bronze.
After a brilliant swim Duffy was out of the 1st Transition first with 10 seconds lead over Katie Zaferes and Rachel Klamer.
Straight into that tough climb for the first of three laps... Duffy powered the first lap of three, with Zaferes, Miriam Casillas Garcia, and Anna Godoy Contreras 35 seconds back.
Duffy was able to extend the lead and finished with a time of 1:00:53, she finished 1 minute and 11 seconds ahead of Potter, and three seconds back was Steinhauser.
Duffy clocked 9:11 on the Swim, 33:35 on the Bike, and 16:55 on the Run.
