Via social media, Butterfield said, “What a day at Ironman Cozumel Latin American Championships.
Not how I thought the race would pan out, but better than I could have ever dreamed or imagined.
Cozumel you beautie, huge thanks to the race, volunteers, locals, island itself - amazing here, and I owe you for fulfilling a childhood dream.
But wanted to get something out and say thank you to everyone that made this possible, the race Ironman Cozumel and everyone that cheered me on here and supported from afar too!
