Duffy Remains ITU World Triathlon Rankings Leader

Becoming only the second woman in ITU history to have won five World Triathlon Series races in a single season, Bermuda’s Flora Duffy secured the place in history after a dominating victory at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm.

The win secured her the overall Series leader position going into the Rotterdam Grand Final next month as she will enter the race with a lead of 493 points in an effort of retaining her world title.

The Rankings 2017 are used to determine the best performing Triathletes of the season.

Duffy following her 2017 ITU World Triathlon Sweden win leads Ashleigh Gentle from Australia. Duffy has 4000 points picking up 800 points for her latest victory.

Gentle has 3507 points having competed in one more event than Duffy, while another Andrea Hewitt from New Zealand is in third with 3224 points.
