Bermuda’s Flora Duffy, winner of the WTS Grand Final last year in Cozumel, will head the Women’s Elite Field for the World Triathlon Series (WTS) when the second round takes place in the Gold Coast.
New Zealand’s Andrea Hewitt will look to follow her victory in Abu Dhabi with another success in the Women’s Elite race.
Also expected to be on the startline are Australian Olympians Ashleigh Gentle, Emma Jackson and Charlotte McShane.
The race on April 8th will take place on a new course at Mitchell Park, which is claimed to be a spectator friendly course.
