Following the race Richardson said, “I had a great day of racing there was only 123 overall in the Age Group Race, about 40 very strong good guys very young, so I was pleased to place 13th overall.”
“My 1:16 reflects the slow times but it was the same for the elites, the wind played a big factor. It was draft legal but I had to ride solo and rode though a few before I got in a little group of Argentina and Uruguay riders, we rode together but they was not strong so a did most of the work, I hit the run and felt good with a strong run,” concluded Richardson.
