Following on from his excellent 12th place finish in Ottawa last weekend in the Canadian 13-15 Youth Series Event, Nick Pilgrim began a unique three-day event in Magog, Quebec, Canada in series of three races for Under 13 Triathletes.
Pilgrim on Day One finished the Aquathlon which consist of a 200m Swim and 1km Run 4th out of 42 starters in 6:59 with the winner Jeremy Lajoie crossing the line in 6:44.
This event was followed by a Duathlon that covered a 100m Run, 5km Bike and 100m Run with a staggered start against the clock every 30 seconds.
Pilgrim clocked 13:27 and is now 4th overall.
Pilgrim clocked 18 seconds on the first Run, before clocking 12:39 on the Run, he closed out with a time of 32 on the second Run.
