Taking part in the Boy's Junior Elite event over 750m Swim, 20km Draft Legal Bike and 5km Run , Smith finished 8th with a time of 55.31.
Smith clocked 10.16 on the Swim, 26.41 on the Bike Course and 17.32 on the Run Course.
Hawley finished 14th stopping the clock with a time of 1:04.47. Hawley recorded a time of 11.25 on the Swim, 31.26 on the Bike and 20.47 on the Run.
Earlier in the day a water quality tests was done and organizers decided to cancel the Swim part of the Youth Triathlon.
Nicholas Pilgrim finished 12th with a time of 35.09, Caleb Ingham was 27th clocking a time of 38.53.
