Duncan Scott finished the famous Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon for the second year in a row finishing 56th in the Male 50-54 Age Group Division in 3:27:20.
The Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon saw Scott conclude the 1.5 mile Swim from Alcatraz Island in the San Francisco Bay in 49.23.
The race continued with an 18 mile Bike ride out the Great Highway, through the Golden Gate Park with Scott clocking 1:07.29.
This was followed by a Sand Ladder that Scott completed in 4;19 before concluding the tough 8 mile Run through the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and finished at The Marina Green, Scott recorded a time of 1:19.49.
Scott finished 629th overall and was the 537th Male to finish, entries are limited to 2,000 competitors each year.
