A total of five Triathletes from Bermuda competed in the Chatanooga Ironman 70.3 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The five competed in the 1.2 Mile Swim, 56 Mile Bike Course and 13.1 Mile Run Course.
Jonathan Betts finished 337th overall and finished the Men’s 45-49 Age Group 36th with an overall time of 5:10.23. Betts recorded a Swim Time of 29:55, he then clocked 2:37:37 on the Bike Course before clocking 1:55:50 Run Course.
Tim Patterson finished 72rd in the Men’s 40-44 Age Group with an overall time of 5:23.38. Patterson clocked 30:32 on the Swim, 2:48.49 on the Bike Course and 1:56.00 on the Run Course.
Kandis Matthews competing in the Female 35-39 Age Group finished 28th in the Divison and 654th overall, recording a time of 34:13 on the Swim, 2:57:49 on the Bike Course and 1:57:32 on the Run Course for an overall time of 5:36:14.
Finishing with a time of 5:43.12, Jennifer Wilson finished 737th overall and 29th in the Female 40 – 44 Age Group with a time of 32:27 on the Swim, 2:51.17 on the Bike Course and 2:11.51 on the Run Course.
Christine Patton finished 23rd in the Female 55-59 Age Group, her overall time of 7:23.24 saw her finish 1,904th overall, Patton clocked 39:07 on the Swim, 3:24:27 on the Bike Course and 3:03.57 on the Run Course.
