DATEV Challenge Roth in Germany will celebrate its 15th anniversary on July 17th with an illustrious field of the World’s Best Male Triathletes.
It is led by none other than world champion and race favorite, Jan Frodeno.
Also in the fight for the podium is 33-year-old Tyler Butterfield from Bermuda. He took part in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the 2012 Games in London and in 2014 was the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon Champion.
Butterfield also has a number of top 10 finishes over the long distance in his career, including a fifth at Hawaii in 2015.
Butterfield is internationally known as a strong cyclist and will bring some excitement to the bike leg of the race.
