Butterfield Finishes 5th in Canada Ironman

Tyler Butterfield finished 5th during the Mont Tremblant Ironman 70.3 in Quebec Canada. Butterfield had a strong Swim, usually his weakest discipline he exited with the leaders clocking a time of 24:11, Butterfield recorded a strong Bike ride of 2:05.51 which put him in contention for a podium going into the run.

Butterfield was clocked on the Run Course with a time of 1:15.49 to finish in an overall time of 3:50.04, he was just pipped for 4th by the fast finishing Richie Cunningham who clocked 3:50.02.

Pre-race favorite Lionel Sanders, who was 4th at the 2014 Ironman 70.3 World Championships finished first with a time of 3:45.38.
