Tyler Butterfield reached the podium of the Ironman 70.3 Brazil which is also the Ironman 70.3 Latin American Championships.
Butterfield finished 3rd with a time of 3:45.48, he finished behind Champion Tim Don from Great Britain who clocked 3:41.47 and Timothy O’Donnell from the USA finished second clocking a time of 3:42.40.
Butterfield covered the 1.9K Swim with a time of 25.28, he came out of the water 12th in the Professional Division, he was the 13th Male to exit the water and 15th overall to exit the water.
Butterfield moved up to 2nd after the 90k Bike Course recording a time of 1:59.54. Butterfield closed out recording a 21.1k Run time of 1:17.08 which saw him finish in third.
