Petty & Matthews Compete in Canada

Steven Petty finished a creditable 26th out of 42 finishers in the World Sprint Triathlon Championships 60-64 Men’s Age Group, while Joel Matthews, competing in his first World Championships was 70th out of 78 competitors in the very competitive Men’s 35-39 Age Group in Edmonton, Canada.

Petty clocked a time of 1:28:38, Petty clocked 12:54 on the Swim, he then clocked 39:37 on the Bike before closing out with a time of 27:52 on the Run.

Matthews, crossed the line in an overall time of 1:20:07, Matthews clocked 14:58 on the Swim, 35:14 on the Bike and then closed out with a time of 22:47 on the Run.
