Tyler Butterfield, Mark Wilcox and Julia Hawley all took the Ironman Hawaii World Championship Course.
Butterfield came out of the water in a time of 51:24, Butterfield was 27th out of the water, he had moved up twenty places after he completed the 112 mile Bike Course, Butterfield clocked a time of 4:30:12 on the Bike. At the 5.2 Mile mark on the Run Course Butterfield moved up to 4th place, two miles later he was in 5th, however at the 10.3 Mile mark Butterfield had moved up to fourth again and he would stay there until the 25 mile mark where he had fallen two places to sixth, Butterfield was overtaken by another runner in the final mile clocking a time of 2:58:22 to finish 7th overall clocking a time of 8:24:09.
Wilcox clocked 1:17:05 during the Swim, Wilcox was the 1,516th competitor to exit the water, he was 172nd in the Men’s 45-49 Age Group Division. Wilcox moved up to the 141st position in the Division after completing the 112 mile Bike ride in a time of 6:40:08. After 10.3 miles on the Run Course Wilcox moved up to 115th in the Division and 945th overall. Following the 26.2 mile Run, Wilcox moved up 37 places in the Division to finish 78th after clocking a time of 3:26:45, Wilcox finished 720th overall with a overall time of 10:10:32.
Hawley finished 1,667th overall after clocking a time of 12:57:28. Hawley came out of the water 1,641st in a time of 1:21:02, she was 29th in the Female 50-54 Age Group Division. Hawley at the 75.3 Mile mark on the Bike Course had fallen two places in her Division, but at the conclusion of the Bike ride she was 28th recording a time of 7:33:52. Hawley has completed 3.1 miles of the Run Course and she is in 31st place in her Division. Hawley clocked a time of 5:19:52 on the Run Course and fell to 45th in the Division.
