Tyler Butterfield has finished 7th in the fourth edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Racine in the American Midwest.
Butterfield clocked a time of 3:54:58 in Wisconsin.
Martin Jensen was crowned the 2013 Ironman Racine champion in a time of 3:47:05. Andrew Starykowicz finished 2nd, 1:29 back of Jensen and recorded a time of 3:48:34. Ivan Vasiliev finished off the podium with a 3:51:22, 4:18 back of the winner.
Butterfield was not in the top 10 out of the water, but after the first 30.0 miles on the Bike Course Butterfield had moved up to 9th, when the 56-Mile Bike portion ended for the top 10 Butterfield had moved up to 7th. Butterfield remained in his 7th place position.
