Taylor Carrick has begun competing in the Polish Junior Squash Open in Wrocław, Poland.
On the opening day, Carrick had two matches in the Under 17 Division and advanced in both.
Carrick defeated Ernesto Revert from Spain in straight games in his first game 11-4, 11-1, 11-4.
Carrick would next take on Kajetan Lipski from Poland, but he would need four games to advance. The home town boy Lipski won the first game 11-9, but Carrick would then run off the next three games 11-8, 11-2, 11-7.
