Micah Franklin began taking part in the $5,500 Men's PSA Wakefield Open in Virginia, USA.
Franklin would take on Reuben Phillips from England in his First Round match, Franklin would go down in 4 games.
Phillips would take a 1 – 0 lead when he won the first game 11-5, Phillips would go ahead 2 – 0 after he won the second game 11-7, Franklin would give himself a lifeline when he won the third game 11-5, but Phillips would close out the match winning the fourth game 13-11.
