Bermuda’s Micah Franklin took to the court for a Qualifying Round at the Professional Squash Association, PSA, $10,000 Saskatoon International Movember Boast International Squash Event.
The Boast taking place in Saskatchewan, Canada inside the YMCA Saskatoon Club. the event.
Franklin in his First Round Qualifying match took on local favorite Stephan Johnson winning the match in 23 minutes 11-4, 11-4, 11-4.
Everyone was excited to see how far the local had come in the year following his surgery to repair his right knee.
Franklin showed the utmost skill in keeping rallies alive and taking Johnson into the deep water at every chance.
In the end Franklin was too sharp and finished the match with precise control over his ball placement to stretch young Johnson to the limit.
