The Squash Challenge between Bermuda and Jamaica ended with Jamaica winning 12 – 2.
The Caribbean one seed and two seed Chris Binnie and Lewis Walters defeated Bermuda’s number one and two Micah Franklin and Noah Browne.
Coning into the night the Bermuda pair knew anything short of 3 – 0 victories would not be enough.
Browne jumped out to an early lead and never looked back winning game one 11-7, however Walters stepped up his game and won the next two games by the same score of 11-7. Walters would end the game as a contest winning the fourth game 11-4 to record a 3 – 1 victory.
Birthday boy Franklin was hoping to get the better of Binnie, however Binnie was in no mood for a birthday gift as he won the first game 11-6.
Binnie would capitalize on the small mistake that Franklin was making to win the second game 11-0, Franklin refused to lay down and took Binnie to a tie breaker in the third game, with Binnie winning 13-11.
