Training has officially begun for Micah Franklin’s first overseas PSA Tournaments coming up next month in South America. Franklin, is up 35 places this month to PSA World #344
Franklin said, “I stepped on Court with hands down the best player I’ve ever got to know, Jonathan Power a legend of the game. It was a huge encouragement to have him ask me if I wanted to do some drills with him this afternoon, and even though I may have been struggling to keep up with him I’ve never learned so much in an hour of squash.”
Franklin went on to say, “I will be going to Argentina first for the Regatas de Resistencia Open 2012 on May 11th with the Tournament starting on the 14th.”
Franklin will then head to Paraguay on the 20th of May for the 2012 Paraguay Open which starts on the 22nd.
Franklin will finally travel to Brazil for the Cerdil Squash Open on the 26th of May, before making his way back to Bermuda on May 31st.
Franklin concluded, “I am extremely excited for my first Professional events and ready to start competing internationally at the professional Level.”
