Shrubb, Muldoon and Bates Win

Jason Shrubb, Kristian Muldoon and their No. 17th nationally ranked Bates Men’s Squash team outplayed No. 24 Colby by a 6-3 score, finishing up the regular season on a winning note.

Bates awaits its opening-round opponent at the College Squash Association Men’s Team Nationals, which start on Thursday at Princeton.

Sophomore captain Muldoon registered a 3-1 win over Nat Cooper at No. 3, Muldoon won 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-6.

First-year student Shrubb won at No. 9 defeating Ben York in four sets. Shrubb won 6-11, 11-9, 11-1, 11-6.
