Robbie Maycock and his seventh-ranked Dartmouth University Men's Squash teammates had its first home contest of the 2011-12 season and lost to fifth-ranked Harvard, 8-1.
The loss dropped Dartmouth to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the Ivy League.
Dartmouth earned its lone victory at No. 2 singles. Senior Nick Sisodia used five games to defeat Gary Power of Harvard, 10-12, 11-6, 3-11, 11-6, 11-7. Senior Luke Lee also went five games, but lost to Nicholas Hopcroft, 3-11, 11-5, 11-2, 5-11, 11-8.
Maycock playing in the number five spot went down in straight sets 11-9, 11-5, 11-7.
Harvard swept the other six matches, but at No. 1 singles, senior Chris Hanson pushed Brandon McLaughlin in each game. McLaughlin claimed the victory, 12-10, 11-9, 11-8.
