Bermuda’s Women’s Under 17 Team got off to a flying start as the CONCACAF Caribbean Under 17 Qualifiers got underway in St. Lucia.
Bermuda Starting Line Up: - Zakhari Turner, Koa Goodchild, Megan Titterton, Danni Watson, Lindsey Pacheco, Trinae Edwards, Jaden Masters, Sh’nyah Akinstall, Emily Cabral, Leilanni Nesbeth, Nia Christopher
Bermuda took on the host on the opening day winning 3 - 0 with all three goals coming in the first half.
Bermuda took the lead early in the match through a own goal, an Nesbeth doubled the Bermuda lead and just before the halftime interval Bermuda would get a third goal through an acrobatic Jaden Masters shot from a Nia Christopher cross.
The second half proved to be more evenly balance, but at time the Bermuda team did not capitalize on the opportunities presented by the host.
