Djair Parfitt-Williams and his West Ham Development Team teammates defeated Manchester City 2 – 1 in a match that saw Parfitt-Williams inspire his teammates to the victory.
The West Ham Development Squad took a deserved lead when Parfitt-Williams picked the ball up on the byline, with little room he had one, two, three stepovers before dinking a cross to back post, which saw Dan Potts jump highest to head home from close range.
Parfitt-Williams continued his great form on the day as he spun his man and sent a 40-yard cross field pass in Joe Wards direction. Unfortunately it spins off the turf and Gunn gathers.
West Ham went ahead 2 – 0 when Jordan Brown fired a cross along the six yard box which Adam Drury stabs into his own net!
Manchester City pulled a goal back when Olivier Ntcham broke through the back line and slotted the ball home coolly past the West Ham keeper to make it 2 - 1.
Parfitt-Williams and his teammates were able to force Manchester City to defend for most of the remainder of the match thus coming away with the win.
