West Ham United’s Premier League Division 2 team made two changes from the side that beat Norwich City last weekend with Djair Parfitt-Williams coming in for his first start of the season and Domingos Quina returning to the side.the game also featured another Bermudian player in the West Ham strip and that was goalkeeper Nathan Trott.

Parfitt-Williams got a warm welcome back, he was of course on the scoresheet when West Ham clinched last year's Premier League Cup. He netted in the first leg at the Boleyn Ground and Terry Westley's men went on to win the trophy on penalties. Unfortunately the wide man has missed the early part of the season through injury but he was back tonight and started.

In the 37th minute Trott was called into action as a backpass unfortunately fell to Ayunga for Brighton who forces a good save from Trott.

It was goalless between West Ham PL2 and Brighton at the break with West Ham having dominated the ball in the first 45 but created little compared to how much they've been on the ball. Captain Declan Rice probably had the best chance but his effort was cleared off the line on 10 minutes.

One change was made at the Break for West Ham, as expected Parfitt-Williams was replaced by Dan Kemp. Parfitt-Williams was easing himself back from injury tonight, hence only playing a half.

In the 68th minute a Brighton free-kick was held by the Trott.

The match ended 0 - 0 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium. West Ham came out fighting in the second half and dominated chances created but could not find the winner. Several players went close in the second 45 but it wasn't to be.
