 Shane Robinson IslandStats.com  Stefan Simmons, Tre Burgess, Shane Robinson, and their Thomas College Men’s Soccer teammates won big against Vermont State University Johnson. The final score was 6-0 in a dominant performance.
Thomas College started the game well, scoring within the first 36 seconds. Daud Abdi sent in a perfect cross that found Robinson, who put the ball in the back of the Vermont net to take a 1-0 lead, his goal proved to be the winner.
22 Minutes later, Carter Pelletier stepped up to the penalty spot and calmly placed the ball into the bottom right corner to take a 2-0 lead.
In the 35th minute, Gabriel Fortuna was able to perfectly place the ball into the bottom right corner at a tight angle to give Thomas College a 3-0 lead.
In the 40th minute, Mustafa Najm scored to extend the lead to four, with the assist coming from Burgess.
Thomas College took a commanding 4-0 lead into halftime and never looked back.
Two minutes after halftime, Thomas College struck again. Abdi found the back of the net, being assisted by Pelletier to take a 5-0 lead.
In the 50th minute, Thomas College would get their final goal. Julen Zuidervaart sent in a pass over the top of the Badger defense, which found Pelletier who placed the ball into the bottom left corner to extend the lead to six.
