Joshua Joseph scored three goals to lead Thomas College Men's Soccer to a big win against University of Maine Presque Isle, 5 - 0.
Joseph, along with Shane Robinson, Tre Burgess, and their teammates are now 1-2-1 on the season.
In the 16th minute, a foul just outside the 18-yard box gave Daud Abdi a free-kick opportunity in a dangerous spot. Abdi bent the ball over the wall, and into the top left corner to give Thomas a 1-0 lead.
Five minutes later, Cole Washburn sent in a cross to Joseph, who scored to make the game 2-0.
The University of Maine Presque Isle was unable to get much going in the first half, with Thomas having most of the possession.
It didn't take long in the second half for Thomas to find the net again, with the goal this time coming from Craig Coventry.
Eight minutes later, Joseph found the net again to give Thomas a 4-0 lead, which gave University of Maine Presque Isle little to no hope for a comeback.
Joseph completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute, thanks to an assist from Coventry to give Thomas College a 5 - 0 lead in a dominant performance.
