Nia Christopher and her Towson Women's Soccer teammates got a second-half goal from Phoebe Canoles in a 1 - 0 win against Howard on Sunday night. Towson are 2-0 to start the season for the first time since the 2007 season.
Towson would finally break through in the 48th minute. Christopher took a pass from Alexandra Rush and put a shot on target. The ball would bounce off the post and Canoles would be there to clean up to give Towson a 1-0 lead.
