 A total of eleven players from IDA Bermuda are playing with the New England Surf Select teams in the Easter International Cup in Orlando, Florida.
After two days of group games the Semi-Final matchups for the Knock Out round of the tournament have emerged.
Jack Fisher and Qash Lambert teamed up with NE Surf Select Boys in the Under 14 Boys Blue Division.
In their opening game they went down 1 – 0 to Baltimore Armour, they then went down 2 – 1 to Jacksonville, with Lambert giving Surf the lead. Lambert scored in the Surf 2 – 2 draw with Florida Kraze Krush.
Evans Welch, Kalila Daley, and Amaya James are playing with NE Surf Select Girls in the Under 14 Girls White Division.
All three girls scored in an 8 – 0 win over Inwood SC ID, James and Welch both scored twice, while Daley scored once.
The Girls all scored a goal each in a 3 – 0 win over Steel United Virginia Steel.
Isaac Todd and Zydon Lightbourne Furbert are playing for the NE Surf Select Boys in the Under 13 Boys Blue Division.
In their opening match against Florida Rush they went down 6 – 0, they would bounce back in the second game to win 2 – 0 against ACADEMIA ABC- CLUB. In their third match against Bavarian United, Lightbourne Furbert scored 2 goals, and Todd hah 1 assist in the teams 3 – 1 win.
Conor O’Sullivan is playing for the NE Surf Select Boys in the Under 12 Boys Blue Division.
They picked up a 3 – 0 win in their opening match against Academia de Glen Burnie Soccer Club, they would fall 3 – 2 to ANBFC Boynton United FC in their second match. O’Sullivan had an assist in a 5 – 0 win over Jacksonville Football Club JFC.
Adam Barritt and Xavier Hidalgo are representing NE Surf Select Boys in the Under 11 Boys Blue Division.
They began the tournament falling 4 – 1 to ANJUS Jupiter United Soccer, Hidalgo had an assist on the teams lone goal. They would fall 3 – 0 Inwood SC ID in their second match. Barritt would get two assist as they drew 2 – 2 with 345 FC in their third match.
Devi Samuels is playing with the NE Surf Select Girls in the Under 11/12 Girls Blue Division.
They fell 1 – 0 in their opening match to FC DELCO Black, they would bounce back and win their second match 2 – 1 over Real Jersey FC, Samuels would score the lone goal of eh game in a 1 – 0 win over Florida Rush in their third game.
