The CONCACAF Menís Under-17 Championship has a long history of being an event where some of the regionís brightest stars have introduced themselves to the rest of the world.
However, there will be some recognizable faces who take to the field in Guatemala. Many of the players rostered for next weekís Championship got their start in the CONCACAF competition at the 2019 Under-13 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
Now nearly four years later, those players are ready to shine again in the CONCACAF Menís Under-17 Championship.
According to the CONCACAF website, a player to watch at the 2023 CONCACAF Menís Under-17 Championship is Bermudaís Xahvi Deroza.
Deroza who attends South Kent played a big role in Bermudaís first-place finish in their group at CONCACAF Menís Under-17 Qualifier, scoring a hat trick against Saint Martin. Deroza will be a key part of Bermudaís success in midfield.
