Nia Christopher and her Towson University Women's Soccer teammates defeated Hampton 6 - 0. In the process, Towson University clinched its first berth in the CAA Tournament since 2014.
Christopher broke through in the 18th minute with a chance on goal, but her shot was saved from eight yards out.
Leading 1 – 0, Phoebe Canoles would strike again in the 36th minute with her second of the game. Canoles took a pass from Christopher and placed it home to give Towson a 2-0 lead.
Christopher nearly gave Towson a 3-0 lead in the 42nd minute, but her attempt was saved as they took a 2-0 lead at halftime.
In the 61st minute, Christopher netted her 12th goal of the season. Krista Louro played a beautiful ball over the top of the defense that was flicked on by Canoles and finished off by Christopher.
