Ne-Jai Tucker and his Burnley Under 21 teammates went down 3 – 0 to QPR in their Professional Development League match at the County Ground, Leyland.
In the 5th minute, Burnley on the front foot the QPR goalkeeper Murphy Mahoney held a header from Tucker, twenty minutes later Tucker shot an effort over the bar from inside the box after a free-flowing move upfield by Burnley.
QPR took the lead in the 35th minute as Joe Gubbins opened the scoring with the ball falling to him from a corner, as they took that lead to the break.
In the 50th minute, Tucker saw a shot blocked over for a corner from point-blank range, four minutes later Tucker tried his luck again, with another strike blocked behind for a corner.
In the 59th minute Burnley went close again Joe McGlynn won a free-kick on the edge of the area, and Tucker's resulting free-kick is well palmed away by Mahoney.
In the 78th minute, QPR’s Alfie Lloyd doubled the advantage with a long-range shot, and then two minutes later Lloyd made it three with a header from Arkell Jude-Boyd's cross.
Despite being on the front foot for much of the second half, QPR scored twice in two minutes to secure the three points at the County Ground.
