Sincere Hall and his Hull City Under-18 teammates suffered a 3 – 0 defeat against top-of-the-table Sheffield United at Bishop Burton College.
Goals from Josh Smith, Will Lankshear, and Theo Williams gave Sheffield United all three points in the Professional Development League.
Hull City started to grow into the game as Hall tested Henry Hampshaw in the Sheffield United goal, before Aman Panesar drilled his effort narrowly wide, following good work by Alfie Taylor and Glen Sani to create the opportunity.
James Carr then picked out the run of Hall, who could only volley over, with the forward almost turning provider moments later. Hall’s corner delivery picked out the run of Taylor, whose initial header was blocked before Panesar fired wide from the rebound.
