The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) announced the coaches selected to lead the newly created Under 23 National Teams. The BFA will create a new Under 23 squads for both Men and Women.
Naquita Robinson was selected to be the Head Coach for the Under 23 Women. “There's a high level of excitement that comes with the creation of this team,” said Robinson. “I am looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that will inspire us to push for greatness.”
Scott Morton has been selected as the Head Coach of the Under 23 Men. “By being selected as head coach, knowing the talent this age group possesses, I feel like I have won the Bermuda Football Lottery,” said Morton. “To the players, are you ready to change the landscape of Bermuda International Football for the generation of players coming behind you? Bermuda, I know they are more than ready! So don't blink or you might miss it, the Under 23s are coming.”
With the creation of the new Under 23 National teams, Technical Director Maurice Lowe looks to include Bermuda in future U23 tournaments.
BFA President Mark Wade said, “It gives me a great sense of pride as we take another step toward achieving the BFA strategic goals.”
